Nurse M. Hanna, RN, began her nursing career 20 years ago as an Enrolled Nurse (EN), to gain clinical experience while studying a bachelor degree in nursing. After working in almost all clinical areas in a variety of settings and locations, she eventually specialised in intensive care nursing with a postgraduate degree. Nurse M. continued her academic journey with a Master’s degree in critical care, which included a strong focus on clinical governance, education and disaster nursing. To support her passion for teaching and education, Nurse M. completed a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, followed by a Graduate Certificate in Education. Nurse M continues clinical practice in a tertiary intensive care unit and teaches nursing full-time at a prominent Australian university.
Who is The Nurse Brain?
The Nurse Brain was created to make nursing concepts easier to understand and bring trusted resources into the one place. It’s designed to save you time, build your confidence, and support you on your nursing journey. It’s also a window into a nurses brain - the extensive knowledge, skills and insights that guide safe nursing practice. Nursing truly is a career like no other. Yet, despite how much is expected of nurses, there are surprisingly few free, dedicated resources - which can be an added challenge for junior and student nurses still building their foundation.
