Hi, I'm Nurse M. Hanna, a registered nurse with over 20 years of experience.
Throughout my career, I've worked across a variety of clinical areas, hospitals and healthcare settings before eventually specialising in intensive care nursing. I went on to complete a postgraduate qualification in critical care, followed by a Master's degree in Critical Care Nursing, where I developed a strong interest in clinical governance, education and disaster nursing.
As my passion for teaching grew, I completed further qualifications in training, assessment and tertiary education. Today, I divide my time between working clinically in a tertiary intensive care unit and teaching nursing full-time at an Australian university.
Who is The Nurse Brain?
The Nurse Brain was created to make nursing concepts easier to understand and bring trusted resources into the one place. It’s designed to save you time, build your confidence, and support you on your nursing journey. It’s also a window into a nurses brain - the extensive knowledge, skills and insights that guide safe nursing practice. Nursing truly is a career like no other. Yet, despite how much is expected of nurses, there are surprisingly few free, dedicated resources - which can be an added challenge for junior and student nurses still building their foundation.
